Smashbox Waterproof Shadow Liner in "Luminous Fig"

Smashbox Waterproof Shadow Liner in "Luminous Fig" -- OMG!  I am falling in LOVE with Smashbox Cosmetics!  I just did a review on the nude lip liner, and this past weekend I bopped into ULTA to check out these waterproof shadow liner pencils that everyone is just raving about!

The "Luminous Fig" really caught my eye because it's such a unique color and after seeing it on another blog, I went to see if ULTA had these in stock and I got ONE of the last two left!
The "Luminous Fig" really compliments my Hazel eyes -- I would describe this color as a deep brown w/bronze shimmer.

My Husband actually liked it too, and I really value his opinion because Guy's know what they like!  I thought it might be too dark, but I immediately fell in love with it.  I was also eyeing-up a UD eye pencil that is similar to this one, but the color was more of a taupe and I really did not need another taupe pencil, so I got the Smashbox instead and SO glad I did.

This eye pencil is SUPER creamy and long-wearing and SO easy to apply.  After about 10-hours, there was NO creasing and looked as fresh as when I first applied it in the morning (used a e/s primer).

I tend to have oily eyelids, so I just applied my UD Primer Potion on my lids before applying the Smashbox Waterproof Shadow Liner.  I applied the pencil to my lids and just above my lids (I have tiny lids); to give a more open-eyed look and immediately used the sponge tip to blend it out a little and to soften the edges, and I just love the result!  Another thing that I really love about this pencil is that it's so easy to draw a fine line, or make it thicker and smoke it out with the sponge tip!

I also used Laura Mercier's Lustre Eye Colour in "Topaz" just above the crease and then a lighter color eye shadow I used from one of my Sephora e/s trio's to soften and blend everything together.  Made in Italy.

Another pic to show how it looks when just drawing a fine line above the lash line.

Swatch:  Smashbox Waterproof Shadow Liner in "Luminous Fig"  -- It's so difficult to photograph cosmetics because the colors always appear slightly different than in-person.  A gal on Makeup Alley described this color as a deep brown/mahogany with bronze shimmer.
