I was shopping in my local Target store lately, and noticed Sonia Kashuk's new packaging. This brow definer caught my attention, as I am always looking for a great eyebrow pencil. She does make another brow definer which is "twist-up" design, however when I read that it was a "gel" formula, I decided to pass because my experience with gel eyebrow pencils have not been good; I don't like how they clump up and they are hard to blend and don't look natural, SOoooo, I decided to try this one, which is a traditional pencil that you have to sharpen. It says it is non-greasy and heat-resistant, so I figured this would be a good choice for me.
I chose the shade "Haze", which is a medium-dark brown. The other shade is "Taupe", which I usually pass on, because they are too light and have too much greyish tone to them (cool tone). I have used this one, and so far, I do like it; however, it is just a tad too dark, but still wearable. I have to just apply with a light hand, and use my spoolie brush to blend and soften the look. I really like this eyebrow pencil and have been using it regularly. It is a great eyebrow pencil and very affordable at under $6.00 USD. |
Thank you! I just bought this Haze pencil, hoping it would be slightly darker than the Taupe color. Couldn't decided whether or not to open it. From your description as med/dark brown, I probably would not have opened it. But from the photo, I think it looks promising. It's so hard to find the right blonde brow pencil!
