China Glaze Nail Lacquer "Black Diamond"

I love China Glaze Nail Lacquer in "Black Diamond" (photo taken outside at night w/flash).  I love this color because it will always look good, no matter what outfit you are wearing--and it looks so chic!  I only recently discovered China Glaze and I am absolutely in love with their formula; I have had this color on going on 6-days now and hardly any chips!  Another thing I like about China Glaze is that the consistency is thinner, which allows for a better application.  I applied three coats here.

Clarins Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour "Soft Peach 02"

This is a gorgeous blush.  I did a previous review on the shade "Sunset Coral".  This shade, "Soft Peach" is a bit lighter than the Coral Sunset shade.  This blush applies sheer, yet is very buildable.  The shimmer is not intense, it is "illuminating", just like the name says.

Elegant Packaging: Clarins Blush Prodige compact is a beautiful gold compact with the Clarins "C" embossed on the corner and also comes with a velvet pouch.

Essie Nail Lacquer "Fair Game"

I love Essie Nail Lacquers; they are always coming out with some beautiful colors.  One of my favorites from my collection is the shade "Fair Game".  It's a super-gorgeous color which I would describe as a frosty "steel blue" color:

Maybelline "Mega Plush" Mascara & Jordana Easyliner for Lips & Eyes

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara "Very Black" and Jordana Easyliner for Lips "Rock N' Rose" and Easyliner for Eyes "Denim Blue"

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara "Very Black"

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara "Very Black" --  This mascara is a new, gel-mousse formula that is supposed to leave your lashes feeling "plush" and not stiff.  The brush does not look as "plush" as it appears on the packaging.  This mascara has a "flexible" wand.  I have not tried this yet, so I will have to report back on my results.
UPDATE:  This mascara applies really well, gives lots of volume and leaves your lashes soft and flexible.  On the downside, after several hours of wear, I noticed the mascara was all under my eyes and I looked like a raccoon!  Also, this mascara claims that it is "washable" however, when I washed my face with my usual cleanser, I had a difficult time removing the residue from under my eyes.  I would probably not purchase this mascara again.  I'm glad I did not shell-out $20+ dollars, however I lost $8, nonetheless :(

Jordana Easyliner for Lips "Rock N' Rose" and Easyliner for Eyes "Denim Blue"--  These pencils are very creamy and pigmented.  I already own a couple other's.  Jordana brand can be found at Walgreen's for less than $3/each, and are made in the U.S.A.

Clarins Blush Prodige - Illuminating Cheek Colour "Sunset Coral 04"

I was very much intrigued by Clarins new Summer 2012 collection.  The bronzers and blushes in particular really caught my eye.

On a personal note, I don't know about you, but it seems that cosmetic companies are making the names of their products longer and longer.  Okay now, ready for this?  This is the Blush Prodige - Illuminating Cheek Colour in the shade "Sunset Coral 04".

From Clarins:  "Blush Prodige is a silky, lightweight powder blush containing the perfect combination of minerals and plant extracts.  Adds colour and luminosity to cheeks, for an instant healthy-looking glow."  I agree, Clarins :)

I am really glad that I purchased this blush; it is simply gorgeous!  I love everything about this product; from the packaging, the compact, the powder and the finish.  This blush has a nice subtle scent too.  I love the entire Clarins Prodige line!  They started with the Rouge Prodige and it has only gone "up-hill" from there!

This blush is comprised of two coordinating shades that can each be used individually for contouring or highlighting, or used together for an illuminating glow.

I would also like to note that this blush is made in Italy, so you know it has to be good ;)

Whew!  Okay, now that we got past that long introduction, here is the product!

Clarins Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour "Sunset Coral 04"--The packaging is really beautiful.  This compact comes in a pretty red velvet pouch.  The compact itself is has a gorgeous high-shine gold finish, in keeping with the harmony of the "Prodige" collection :)

Clarins Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour "Sunset Coral 04" (no flash)--This shade suits my medium skin tone perfectly.  I just "swirl" the colors together and it gives such a sheer & illuminating glow!  Love!

Dior Ultra Gloss "Pink Croisette 464" (Flash)

Dior Ultra Gloss "Pink Croisette 464"-- This is a beautiful coral-pink with shimmer from the "Dior Croisette Summer 2012" collection.  The word "Flash" on the tube represents the formula.  The "Flash" has micro-shimmers to give the appearance of a fuller lip.  This is a gorgeous color for the summer and is a perfect pairing with the Diorskin Nude Tan powders!

I was not in any need of another bronzing powder, BUT when I saw that Dior came out with this new "nude" collection: "Dior Croisette Summer 2012", I was like oh no...not another bronzing powder, what shall I do?  Well, after reading rave reviews about this bronzing powder, I had to save up some money to shell out $52.00 for a bronzing powder; and finally I went and purchased it at my local Nordy's Dior counter.  And yes, it was well-worth it, fa sha ;)

This bronzer was created to enhance your natural skin tone and give your skin a natural, healthy glow.  This bronzer contains healthy ingredients such as sweet orange extract to boost the energy of skin cells, resulting in a more vibrant and beautiful complexion with every application.

From Dior: "This innovation is based on photo adaptable mineral prisms that offer a revolutionary combination of translucent pigments that adjust to the skin's colour and light sensitive mother-of-pearl".

Onto the packaging:  This compact is one of the most beautiful works of art I have ever seen!  The shiny silver compact case is embossed with the signature Dior pattern--simply gorgeous!  This compact comes in a velvet pouch to protect the beautiful case when traveling.  This compact is so beautiful and exudes "elegance"!

Oh, I almost forgot; I wanted to also mention that the compact has a "magnetic" closure.  This is so wonderful that Dior thought of this because you know how some compacts are hard to open and you end up ruining a perfect manicure?  Well, not with this compact.  Thank you, Dior :)

The powder itself is embossed with the word "NUDE" to signify Dior's nude collection, which consist of the Healthy Glow Enhancing Powder AND the Nude Glow Sun Powder.  I know, the name is extremely long!

Now, for the cute little Kabuki brush, which comes included is really nice!  It works wonderfully for applying this bronzer.  Really thoughtful of Dior to include a Kabuki too.  The kabuki comes with a nice velvet sleeve (cover) as well, to protect it and help keep it's shape.

Onto the powder....the shade I chose was the "Cinnamon 003".  This shade seemed to be more in the medium skintone range.  I would say the other shades that are available are too light or too dark.  The "Honey" shade is followed by "Amber", then "Cinnamon" and "Spicy", which is darker.  I appreciate Dior thinking of "all" skin tones :)

The  Cinnamon shade seemed "just right" for me.  This shade is very close to the other bronzers that I own.  It is a warm bronze with subtle shimmer however, after you apply, you do not notice any shimmer at all.  I think this is where the "Glow Sun" comes into play--very nice and very natural looking.

Also, there is a slight scent to this bronzing powder, which I think must be the "sweet orange extract", which is quite pleasing.

Yves Rocher Intense Color Gloss "Rose Des Sables"

Yves Rocher is a wonderful makeup and skincare company that has been in existence for more than 50-years.  They are headquartered in France.  Their products are made with natural and high quality ingredients.

I ordered a few items online and this review is on the lip gloss, "Intense Color Gloss" in the shade "Rose Des Sables", which is a gorgeous warm rose with subtle shimmer.

This formula is really fabulous and quite long-wearing, for a lip gloss.  It is also very moisturizing and has a nice subtle scent.

The packaging is very up-scale and the quantity of product is very generous.

If I had to compare this lip gloss with a department store brand (or luxury brand), I would compare it to another French brand like "Dior" or "Clarins", in terms of the quality.

Yves Rocher is not available in department stores.  At least not in the United States.  If you would like to order any great products from Yves Rocher online, just keep in mind that they ship out of Canada, so expect 2-3 weeks before you receive your order.  I assure you, their products are well-worth the wait :)
