Aquage "Hydrating Detangler" and "Sea Salt Texturizing Spray"

I absolutely LOVE Aquage Hair Products!  They are sold at select salons and online retailers such as Drugstore.com and Amazon.

Hydrating Detangler -- Love this!  This is a lightweight detangler with color protection.  This makes my hair feel so silky soft and easy to comb through after I wash my hair.  Plus, I love the scent of the sea minerals -- so refreshing!  I will definitely repurchase this!

Sea Salt Texturizing Spray -- I am absolutely in LOVE with this sea salt spray!!  It always gets sold out, so it must be good.  I just spritz it at my roots and all around, for added body, and comb through and then blow dry.  You can use a diffuser, if you want that "just from the beach" look.  I have straight and fine hair and this sea salt texturizing spray adds WAVES and BODY to my hair.  It even looks better the next day when I wake up!  Definitely will be repurchasing this again, IF I can get my hands on one!

Drugstore Haul: John Freida, Real Techniques, Nivea, and Borghese

I recently ordered these goodies from Drugstore.com.

So far, I have been loving the John Freida detangle comb, which is great for my fine hair.  It helps to add shine to the hair too.

I absolutely love the Real Techniques Powder  Brush -- I use this to apply my finishing powder.  The brush is SO soft, and very good quality.

I've been using the Nivea "A Kiss of Protection" Lip Care Balm with SPF 30.  A must for the summertime!  The formula is very nice however, I feel that I have to reapply quite often, because it feels very moisturizing at first, but then dries down after awhile.

The other product I have is also nice; Borghese Splendour Baked Bronzer, in shade "Tocca De Sol", which is a very light bronzer, swirled with beige, copper and apricot.  Unfortunately, it is too light for me to wear as a bronzer, but I can use it as a highlight or finishing powder.

Borghese Splendore Baked Bronzer "Tocca De Sole"

Borghese Splendore Baked Bronzer "Tocca De Sole" --  I love Italian baked powder, so when I saw this one from Borghese, I was intrigued.  I got this at a great price from Drugstore.com (I shop there often and highly recommend this site).  This powder retails for around $38, and it got it on clearance for only like $18 USD.

The shade "Tocca De Sole" is too light for me to wear as a bronzer, but I can use it as a highlight or all over, finishing powder.  They do make another darker shade, which I originally wanted, but got this one instead, mainly because of the great price.  The powder is a pretty swirl of beige, copper and apricot.  I will have to post a FOTD soon so you can see the finish -- it has some shimmer to it, but like I said, it does not add much color to the face.

The packaging is very nice; however, I expected it to be made in Italy, but it's made in the USA, so I'm not sure if it's is manufactured the same way as in Italy.

Hourglass Cosmetics: Femme Nude Lip Stylo - Satin Finish Lip Color in "Nude No. 5"

I have wanted this lippie for quite some time, and finally picked this up at Sephora.  I have never tried Hourglass Cosmetics, but I hear they are fabulous.  I keep looking at the Ambient Powder....that is next on my wish list!! I got the shade "Nude No. 5", which is a warm, peachy nude.  I love the packaging; totally chic and glamorous!  This is a twist-up lipstick, so you don't have to worry about sharpening.  I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, so I can't comment on the formula, but when I swatched it, it feels very creamy and the color is beautiful.  See swatch below!

L'Oreal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche Lip Color -- collection!

I did a recent review on these lippies, and since Walgreen's was running a promotion, I went back for more!  I fell in love with "Rose Melody", and "Nude Ballet", so I went back for "Dancing Rose", and "Molto Mauve".  I love this formula -- it applies like a gloss, but has richer pigment and feels like a balm and is very moisturizing!  See swatches below!

L'Oreal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche Lip Color -- Shown here is "Nude Ballet" -- I love the packaging and the short wand and applicator; very easy to apply.  I'm not a huge fan of the shiny gold case; I would prefer if it was a matte finish, but that's okay.

Trish McEvoy - The Power of Makeup Planner: "Timeless Beauty"

This is my very FIRST Trish McEvoy purchase!  I always wanted to try her products, but never did, mainly because to buy each piece on it's own is very expensive.  However; I saw Trish McEvoy demonstrating her products one day on HSN and saw this beautiful planner collection and could not wait to order it!  Plus, with the easy-pay option, it made it very affordable.

The packaging is so elegant.  Even the box the makeup case came in is too pretty to throw away!  The "Timeless Beauty" (limited addition) case has a leopard print (I love leopards).

Trish has built her business on making "make-up" easy; for every woman; you have all your makeup essentials in one beautiful case.  Every collection Trish comes out with has it's own, unique theme and she will add something different like a lipstick, lipgloss, mascara, blush or her 24-hour eyeshadow stick; so, it's always something different.

Another thing I love about her collections is that they are portable and great for traveling and women on the go and women who don't have a lot of time on their hands to spend making up their faces!

Here's what comes in the "Timeless Beauty" collection -- Six beautiful eye shadows; another palette with finishing powder, highlighter and bronzer; Instant Eye Lift (her triangle of light trademark); eyeshadow base; a natural lipgloss; gel eyeliner; eye pencil sharpener; mascara; Lip Color Pencil (sorry, I had it in my handbag when I took the pictures and totally forgot about it), and four amazing makeup brushes!  Trish also includes a wonderful "how-to" instruction manual on how to use all of her products.  No worries, no fuss!  And, you're good to go!

I have tried all of the products, except the lip gloss.  The eyeshadows seem very nice and good quality.  I also like the finishing powder, blush and bronzer, which is very natural looking.  The brushes are fabulous (she is known for her good brushes).  I did like her Lip Color Pencil (sorry, it's not in the picture -- I will have to post later).

One of the things I did not particularly care for was the gel eyeliner pencil.  It seemed very runny (even with eyeshadow primer), and got worse as the day progressed and I had to keep touching-up my eyes.  Sorry, Trish:  I did not care for the formula.  Also, it made my eyes water all day (and I wear contacts).  I did not even use it in my waterline, and it still made my eyes watery and blurry.

The "Triangle of Light" (Instant Eye Lift) is very nice.  It helps "lift" and "illuminate" the eye area.  One thing I found after experimenting with this was that using her method "Triangle of Light" made my face look ghostly and un-natural.  I tried using less product, and that seemed to look better.

The eye base/primer wasn't too bad, but I noticed some "creasing" as the day wore on.  I found that you don't need to put very much on.

Sad to say, the other item I did not care too much for was the mascara.  It is a volumizing mascara, that supposedly women rave about, but it did not work for me.  I found that it smeared a lot and I am also not a fan of the "tubular" formula (wraps around each lash), as I found it very difficult to remove, even with a gentle eye makeup remover.

There are a couple of items that I won't be using regularly, but I do love this kit.  It's a wonderful makeup case you can easily store in your vanity and it's nice because you have everything ready to go -- all-in-one.

Sonia Kashuk Brow Definer "Haze"

I was shopping in my local Target store lately, and noticed Sonia Kashuk's new packaging.  This brow definer caught my attention, as I am always looking for a great eyebrow pencil.  She does make another brow definer which is "twist-up" design, however when I read that it was a "gel" formula, I decided to pass because my experience with gel eyebrow pencils have not been good; I don't like how they clump up and they are hard to blend and don't look natural, SOoooo, I decided to try this one, which is a traditional pencil that you have to sharpen.  It says it is non-greasy and heat-resistant, so I figured this would be a good choice for me.

I chose the shade "Haze", which is a medium-dark brown.  The other shade is "Taupe", which I usually pass on, because they are too light and have too much greyish tone to them (cool tone).  I have used this one, and so far, I do like it; however, it is just a tad too dark, but still wearable.  I have to just apply with a light hand, and use my spoolie brush to blend and soften the look.  I really like this eyebrow pencil and have been using it regularly.  It is a great eyebrow pencil and very affordable at under $6.00 USD.

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain "LA Exclusive"

I saw that Revlon just came out with these new hybrid "gloss/balms", and picked up "LA Exclusive", which is a cool, mid-tone pink.  I love the packaging and the applicator wand.  I feels really nice when you apply it and does feel like a balm.  The color payoff is very good and there is no strong fragrance, which is nice.  These gloss/balm-stain lippies having been popping up everywhere.  I think every cosmetic line makes one now!  This formula felt very moisturizing and even after the color fades (after 4-5 hours, or until you eat/drink or take it off), my lips still felt very hydrated.

Urban Decay Complexion Prep Spray

Picked up this travel-sized Urban Decay Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray at JCP Sephora store recently and I absolutely LOVE this stuff!!  I just spritz it all over before moisturizer (but sometimes I forget that step), so I spritz again to set my make-up.  I love that they are making more travel-size products, because it's a good way to try a new product out without spending a lot of money.  I will be purchasing the full-size next time!  I have oily/combo skin and I highly recommend this prep spray; it's great for the hot and humid summer months!  It is so refreshing too and leaves my skin feeling clean and sets my makeup!

Hard Candy Cosmetics - So Baked Bronzer in "Hula Hula" and "Tropics" & Physician Formula Bronzing Powder & Prestige Mineral Bronzing Powder

I was organizing my bronzers recently, when I came across these beauties.  I did a review on these while back.  I decided to re-post them.  Hard Candy's "Hula Hula" (top, right) is a beautiful light bronze with shimmer that is perfect for light to medium skintones, and "Tropics" (top left), is a deeper bronze, which is great for darker/tanned skintones.  At the bottom left is Physicians Formula Baked Bronzer in Tan and to thr bottom right is Prestige Cosmetics Skin Loving Minerals Bronzing Powder in "Glam Tan", which are also beautiful bronzers.  You can find Hard Candy at Wal-Mart stores for around $10.  They are very good quality, and last like forever!  You can find Physicians Formula at ULTA and most drugstores.  You can find Prestige Cosmetics at ULTA and online.

MAC Mineralize Blush "Warm Soul"

MAC Mineralize Blush "Warm Soul" -- I have wanted this blush for a long, long time, but I had such a long list of other items I wanted to get, so this kept getting put on the back-burner.  Well, I finally picked it up at Nordy's last week -- yay!!  At first glance, you will notice that MAC has revamped it's packaging, and it is quite nice, I must say.  The quality is better than the previous packaging and the compact itself has a magnetic closure.

Warm Soul is a gorgeous peachy-bronze with subtle golden shimmer.  I'm not certain if MAC has reformulated their Mineralize Blushes; however, this shade seems different from all the times I swatched it at the MAC counter.  I remember Warm Soul being more shimmery and this one seems to have less shimmer -- and I happen to like it, a whole lot!!

I must mention the price, because it's been a while since I've purchased a MAC Mineralize Blush, and the price has risen, considerably (ouch).  I remember paying around $22 USD, and when I went to the check-out, the price was $27 USD!!  I wanted it for a long time, so I just grinned and bared it, so-to-speak, LOL.  I don't mind paying more for a product, provided the quality is there.  MAC Cosmetics are starting to get as pricey as say, high-end lines such as Chanel.

Now, I haven't compared the quantity of the product and I hope it's not less product for more money -- then, I would be upset that I was being ripped-off, LOL.

MAC Mineralize Blushes are beautiful I and highly recommend them.

Sephora PRO Full Coverage Airbrush Makeup Brush

Sephora PRO Full Coverage Airbrush Makeup Brush --  I saw this adorable makeup brush online at Sephora; so I was very eager to run to my Sephora store and check it out!  When I was looking at the makeup brushes, I could not find it right away, so I asked one of the Associates and she directed me to it.  After she pointed it out to me, I figured out why I could not find it right away....the brush is a lot smaller than I had thought.  It measures only about 4-1/2 inches long and the width of the brush itself measures about 2-1/2 inches wide.  But, don't let it's small size fool you (as I thought it would me), because as soon as I applied my mineral powder with this brush, I fell completely in love!  The brush is so soft and applies powder so effortlessly.  The short handle gives you precision control.  I also love the "fan" design of the brush, because it gets in every corner (around nose, mouth, and under eyes).

This is a great brush to apply mineral powder, bronzer or blush.

Applying my mineral powder foundation is easy, but this brush makes it a breeze!

Now, I don't typically shell-out $38 for a makeup brush (love my Sonia Kashuk, Crown Brushes, and Everyday Minerals brushes), but this one was well worth it.  The quality is excellent.
