China Glaze Nail Lacquer "Jungle Queen"

China Glaze Nail Lacquer "Jungle Queen"--This is a beautiful deep-purple color with a micro-shimmer finish.  I love how the light catches the shimmer--gorgeous pedi-color too!

Sephora Collection: MicroSmooth Baked Eyeshadow Trio "After Glow 04" & Maniac Long Wearing Lipstick "16" (iridescent dusty rose)

Sephora Collection: Micro Smooth Baked Eyeshadow Trio "After Glow 04" and Maniac Long Wearing Lipstick "16"

Sephora Collection Micro Smooth Baked Eyeshadow Trio "After Glow 04" (no flash)--These colors are beautiful.  This trio is described as a neutral purple.  The highlighting shade is a pale pink; the lid shade is a mauve-taupe and the darkest shade (contour & defining) is a rich plum.

Sephora Collection Micro Smooth Baked Eyeshadow Trio "After Glow 04" (w/flash)
Me, wearing Sephora Collection Micro Smooth Baked Eyeshadow Trio "After Glow 04"--I used the darkest shade in my outer corners and then applied the darker shade "wet", using it as an eyeliner.  Note that the darker shade has some shimmer in it, which is rather nice.

Swatch:  Sephora Collection Micro Smooth Baked Eyeshadow Trio "After Glow 04"--These shadows are very smooth and pigmented.  These are baked in Italy.  I read a lot of good review on these eyeshadows, so I am excited to try them!--I did a swatch of the Maniac Long Wearing Lipstick "16" (top) however, it is hardly noticeable because it is so sheer.
Sephora Collection: Maniac Long Wearing Lipstick "16" (iridescent dusty rose) w/flash--These lippies have been out for a while now and I've always wanted to try them.  This shade is a bit more sheer than I thought, although it is a very pretty neutral rose.  These lipsticks are very creamy and I love the scent; it's a fruity scent, but I can't quite put my finger on it to describe exactly what it smells like.  This will look nice with the "After Glow" Micro Smooth Baked E/S!

Make Up For Ever Lab Shine/Star Collection Lip Gloss "S18"

Make Up Forever Lab Shine Lip Gloss "S18"-- I am a huge fan of MUFE's Rouge Artist Intense and I've had my eyes on these "Lab Shine's" for some time now, and decided on the shade "S18", which is "Pearly Rosewood".  These glossies come in three different formulations: Diamond, Star and Metal.  The "Pearly Rosewood S18" happens to be from the Star Collection.  The Diamond formula is sheer with glitter, the Star formula has a bit more pigment with shimmer and finally the Metal formula has more pigment and has more of a chrome effect, according to MUFE.  If you are looking for a lip gloss with a lot of "shine", then this gloss is for you!

Make Up Forever Lab Shine Lip Gloss "S18"--This is a beautiful medium-rose shade which I thought would be perfect for my complexion however, I think the "Star" formula is a bit too sheer for me and I will probably go for another shade in the Metal formula, which seems to have a richer consistency and not so sheer as the star formula.

Close-Up:  Make Up Forever Lab Shine Lip Gloss "S18"--The brush applicator is very nice and makes the gloss apply smoothly.  I also wanted to add that this gloss does have a scent/flavor to it.  The taste and scent reminds me a lot of the Rouge Artist lipsticks and I noticed that the scent/taste does stay around for a while, so if any of you ladies are put off by that, you may want to avoid the MUFE Lab Shines :(

Swatch:  Make Up Forever Lab Shine Lip Gloss "S18"--You can see what I am saying about the "sheerness" of the "Star" formula--it is very shiny and pretty however, I was looking for a bit more pigment.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer "Radiant"

Maybelline's Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer is a liquid concealer that illuminates and hides imperfections.  It is packaged in a tube which dispenses the liquid through an applicator brush.  The shade I chose was "Radiant".

I am really enjoying this product.  I love the consistency of the liquid and the brush is quite soft which makes this concealer so easy to apply and blends very well.  I applied this concealer under my eyes, on my brown bone and along my nose and mouth.  The finish is very natural-looking and radiant.

There is really no scent or perfume smell to this product, which is a plus!  The packaging is quite nice and easy to use--just click a few times to dispense the desired amount of concealer and apply to areas that need concealing or illuminating.

I highly recommend this product and it performs just as well as any luxury-brand concealer/illuminator and at a fraction of the cost.

Maybelline Super Stay 14-Hour Lipstick "Neverending Nude" 030

Maybelline Super Stay 14-Hour Lipstick "Neverending Nude"--I already own a couple of these lippies and they are quite nice.  They are very lightweight and not drying, from my experience.  These lippies do have a strong "grape" scent at first, but it soon goes away.  This shade "Neverending Nude" is a great nude; I really love it for a "go-to" color or when you don't know what else to wear.  Some people don't care for this shade because it does have some "sparkle" to it, which does not bother me.  I can't really comment on the "14-Hour" wear because I usually re-apply my lipstick way before then ;)

MAC Prep + Prime Pressed Finishing Powder

I purchased the MAC Prep + Prime Pressed Finishing Powder a couple of months ago and decided to do another review and update on how it's working for me thus far, especially now that we are right in the peak of summer season.

I am quite pleased with this powder and it is great for a finishing powder.  I like the fact that it is transparent, so it won't interfere with your makeup.  I use a very small amount on my powder brush, since this is the pressed version.
MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder/Pressed

Swatch:  MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder/Pressed--You can see this powder has a very sheer consistency and is barely noticeable on the skin.
As far as keeping the shine down on my oily/combo skin, it works pretty well, but I do have to touch-up after about 2-hours or so, to keep the shine down.  I would not say that this powder makes your skin totally "matte", so if you are looking for a totally "matte" look, then this product may disappoint.

All-in-all, I am very happy with this purchase and I could see myself re-purchasing this item.

I have posted "before" and "after" pictures so you can see how it cuts down the shine and gives a very natural finish.

This photo was taken BEFORE I used the MAC Prep + Prime pressed powder.  You can see how shiny my face was.  This photo was taken outside in natural sunlight and it was a very hot and humid day.
And this is AFTER using MAC Prep + Prime Pressed Finishing Powder.  You can really see the difference and how it has eliminated most of the shine, but not totally matte.  I really like the finish; it's very natural-looking.

NEW! Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color "Naked"

I have not purchased any UD in quite some time.  So, while I was at my local Sephora store, I was doing some swatches and came across this new lippie from Urban Decay called "Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color".....whoa, now that is a mouth-full!

This is a lip color in a "pencil" form, so it will need sharpening from time-to-time, so just keep that in mind if you are traveling.

After one swipe, I was sold!  This lip color is very creamy, yet highly-pigmented.  There is no strong perfume scent, which is even better for me.  I chose the color "Naked", and I love it--it is the perfect soft beigey-pinky nude.  It appears to be slightly frosted, but it is not noticeable on the lips.

To apply, all I did was line my lips first, then filled in and the finish is so gorgeous!  There is no need to add gloss because of the glossy finish it gives and it is quite long-lasting.  After about four hours, my lips still felt moisturized, soft and still had some color left.  I highly recommend the UD Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color!

LORAC Wild For TANtalizer Kit (Spring/Summer 2012)

LORAC Cosmetics always comes out with some pretty nice kits.  I am still enjoying the Red Carpet kit that came out last summer.  Although the new "Wild for Tantalizer" kit came out late Spring/early Summer--I just picked mine up at my local Sephora store!  I glanced it at a few times and decided to get it when I had to go back and return another item.  I really am enjoying this "Tantalizer" kit.

I wanted to try her new Tantalizer "Lips with Benefits" Lip Gloss and the kit included the exclusive shade "Raoul", which I really wanted to try.  This kit also includes a bronzer and eye shadow palette which contains four coordinating bronze eye shadows.  And a bonus -- a cute canvas clutch that has the "wild" theme going on which reminds me of wild Africa or the Australian Outback :)

LORAC Wild for TANtalizer Kit (Spring/Summer 2012)
LORAC Wild for TANtalizer Kit -- Bronzer, Eye Shadow Palette & Gloss--I love the packaging, it is really well thought-out.  I especially love the packaging and design of the lip gloss!

LORAC Wild for TANtalizer Kit -- Bronzer, Eye Shadow Palette & TANtalizer Lip Gloss

LORAC TANtalizer Bronzer --  This is a very pretty bronzer, although I did not care for the spray overlay--I just wiped it away with a kleenex.  It is a very natural-looking bronzer.  Apply with a light hand because it is quite intense.

LORAC TANtalizer Eye Shadow Palette--Top to Bottom (L-R): "Fierce" (light golden-bronze), "Tigris" (deep bronze), "Panthera" (medium golden-bronze) & "Saber" (deepest bronze) for lining & definition
Swatch: LORAC TANtalizer Eye Shadow Palette--L to R: "Fierce", "Tigris", "Panthera" & "Saber"
LORAC TANtalizer Lip with Benefits Lip Gloss "Raoul"--A very pretty copper-peachy-bronze.  Very moisturizing and I love the delicious caramel scent :P
