Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick "Desert Rose"

The new packaging is bigger; square instead of round and there is no "Elizabeth Arden" signature stamped anywhere on the lipstick case.  It's actually rather bland.  I think it's just "okay".  I have to say that I prefer the Ceramide Ultra case (right) better -- I just love the Elizabeth Arden "red door" embossed and the round case -- it just looks and feels more chic to me.

Desert Rose is a beautiful warm rose shade with golden shimmer.  This lippies feels very moisturizing however I didn't find this formula much different from the Ceramide Ultra formula.  The color goes on quite sheer however, you can build up the intensity if you wish.

From what I've read online, Elizabeth Arden is replacing this new formula with the "Color Intrigue Effects" lipsticks.  While at the EA counter I noticed a lot of the same names from the Color Intrigue line is used in the Beautiful Color (new) line.  This is kinda a bummer for me because I love the Color Intrigue formula!  If you love the Color Intrigue Lipsticks, better order online or run to your nearest EA counter and stock-up!
