Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour "Damask" -- I've been going a little lipstick crazy this summer.  So many new formulas to try!  Well, I recently just celebrated another Birthday, so I deserve to be pampered!

Personally, I think a new lipstick is a great way to perk yourself up and treat yourself and not feel like you are breaking the bank.

I love Laura Mercier's lipstick and this formula is no exception.  The formula is "creamy & smooth" just as she describes.  It left my lips feeling hydrated and the color lasts a long time.  I applied it around 9AM and at lunchtime, my lips still had a hint of color and felt well-hydrated.

I would say the finish is not very opaque however, the colors are quite pigmented.

The color I chose "Damask" is a deep mauvey-rose that has a hint of some shimmer, which is hardly noticeable.

Another thing I love about Laura is that she does not use heavy perfumes in her cosmetics and this lipstick is "scent-free" as far as I can tell.

The packaging is beautiful however, more bulky than the original formula's packaging.

I love this formula and I hope to be picking-up more shades very soon!
