Laura Mercier Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour "Cozy" (cream) -- I could not wait to try Laura Mercier's new lipstick formula. These lippies come in 3 different formula's and each name signifies the formula; C = Cream, S = Sheer and M of course = Matte.
I love the cream formula, so I went with "Cozy" which is a plummy-brown shade. After I applied it I immediately knew it was too dark for me. I really wanted to love this lipstick, but had to take it back. I was going to try the other cream shades, but "Cafe" seemed too brown/dark for me and "Coy" was too light, and the other cream, "Chic" was too bright.........SO frustrating, arggghhh. I wish she had something more in the mauve/rose or neutral family.
These are part of her permanent line, so I hope she comes out with more colors! All-in-all, the cream formula is FANTASTIC!! Goes on so smooth and creamy and makes your lips feel incredibly moisturized. I highly recommend the cream formula, "if" you can find a shade that works for you! |
