Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder "Bali Brown 5"

Since I have been on a Bobbi Brown kick lately, I decided to try her Illuminating Bronzing Powder in the shade "Bali Brown 5".  I was not really in the market for a new bronzing powder but since my local Nordy's only had one left, I figured I better get it before it's gone for good.  I am hardly ever that lucky to get the last one, LOL.  I think Bobbi came out with this last summer (2011).  I know, I'm always kinda late on the newest things -- it's hard to keep up sometimes, LOL.

I was in a silly mood that day at Nordy's and I told the OTC girl that "Bali Brown" sounds so much like "Bobbi Brown".  I think she did that on purpose, hehee.

Every girl who loves bronzing powder (I use bronzing powder all year 'round); knows how incredibly difficult it is to find the right bronzing powder, with the right formula and shade for their skin tone; and Bobbi Brown has some of the best bronzing powders on the planet!

After reading several other reviews online and seeing swatches, I decided that the shade "Bali Brown" would work best for my skin tone.  It is a nice golden brown and it almost reminds me of MAC's "Golden Refined" bronzing powder.  "Bali Brown" seems a tad bit rosy, but not too much that it would make me look orange-y-red.  Personally, I like bronzing powders that are a true golden-brown.

I love how sheer this bronzing powder applies; not cakey at all and it does not have too much shimmer in it that you end up looking like a mirror ball :P  It does make your skin "illuminate" and "glow" -- very natural looking.

I love BB's packaging also; a very nice shiny black compact and very well-made, I might add.  My husband is a plastic engineer and I always show him my make-up when I am impressed with the packaging and design and he loves to see how things are made too; LOL.

Me loves.
