Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder "001 Transparent"

I got married a couple of years ago and I was looking for a good mattifying powder I could wear for my wedding photos.  I read a lot of great things about this Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder.  It really works wonderful in keeping the shine at bay.  I live in South Florida where we have very hot and humid summers and I can attest that this product DOES work!

It's also very natural looking and lightweight.  I chose the shade "001 Transparent" because I did not want to add any color to my face, since I already had foundation on.  They do make a good range of shades in this powder for all skintones.

It has a nice light fragrance too; nothing offensive.  It kinda reminds me a lot of the Coty Airspun powders that used to be famous years back;  but this is a bit different--it has a nice clean fresh scent and also leaves your skin feeling clean.  

The only downside to this product is the packaging.  While I do like the pan itself, I has a "twist-off" flimsy plastic top and does not have a mirror.  I wish that Rimmel had designed this compact powder with a sturdier "attached" lid, which would be great for portability.

This is probably one of Rimmel's best-selling products.  The other great thing about this product is that it can be found at drugstores, Target and Wal-Mart stores, etc.  I was just in Target yesterday and saw that they were very well stocked-up on the matte pressed powder.  

I highly recommend this pressed powder if you are looking for something that is inexpensive and really performs as it says it does!  This is a product that I would definitely purchase again!
